The villa
Four separate buildings step down a natural jungle slope, joined by stone paths and open terraces. The architect, Bruno Ferrand, kept the granite boulders and nearly every tree, so the house feels like it grew here rather than landed. Solar power, harvested rainwater, a saltwater pool with no chlorine. And from every room the same wide horizon: Baan Tai, Hin Kong, then Koh Samui and the Ang Thong islands beyond.
No overlooking neighbours, no road noise. The gate closes and the hill is yours.
Sliding walls of glass and cross-breeze in every room — with air conditioning in the bedrooms for the nights you want it.
Natural saltwater pool, steam room and a cold plunge under the trees.
Solid teak, stone and lime plaster. Solar power and rainwater harvesting, quietly built in.
Four buildings, one hillside, half an island in view.
Yoga & wellbeing
There is space to unroll eight mats on the upper terrace, facing the sea. Steam room and cold plunge below. Private teachers, massage and cooks come to the house — Srithanu, the island's yoga village, is fifteen minutes away when you want company.
Amenities & services
Not included in the rate, and subject to our partners' availability.
Gallery
Every building, every terrace, every bathroom — the house as it is, including the neighbours you can see from the hill. New photos are added through the year as the light changes.
Photographed on the hill, not in a studio.
Location
The villa sits on a hilltop above Maduawan, on the quiet west side of the island, looking out over roughly half of Koh Phangan. Close enough to the ferry, the market and the yoga studios; high enough that you hear only birds and wind.
Discover Koh Phangan
Jungle waterfalls and empty northern bays on one side; sound healing, night markets and marine parks on the other. Everything below is within an hour of the gate.
